After a root canal, i had a filling. How do u notice if a filling fell off? Do i necesarily need a crown?! Can i brush on a root canaled tooth? My cheeks is somewhat swollen and inside feels stiff. Is that normal? How can i relieve that? It is quite uncomfortable especially when i have to laugh my cheek aches.
Next treatment i need to clean my teeth and then another filling. My dentist recommended further decisions after that next treatment whether crowning or not. Please give me the headups.

first off, it depends on the reason you had to have the root canal in the first place.
if the tooth had a big cavity in it, and it was too close the the nerve of the tooth, you may have some residual soreness.
if the nerve of the tooth was dead before they did the root canal, you can still have some soreness (only 2 or 3 days) due to all the pushing and the type of instruments that are used during a root canal.
yes, you can brush a tooth that has had a root canal. as far as the filling in it now, if it's white then it's a temporary filling and you will need to go back and have a final filling put in. if it's a silver color, then you already have that filling.
cheeks are sore because of being stretched out...also, you may have had some degree of infection at the tip of the tooth and it takes a day or two for that to clear up post root canal.

it is not necessary to have a crown put on a tooth with a root canal, but the likelyhood of you breaking your tooth off and needing an extraction is higher without it.

you can always refuse dental treatment...but please listen to your dentist

Hello,

Your cheek is sore from the injection itself. When the injection is done, it goes through a lot of muscles in the back of your mouth, which are the ones that are used when you smile and clench your teeth together. This will recover in a day or so...

You need to have a crown put on that tooth. When a root canal is done, some of the inside of the tooth is taken out, and you are left with a thin outer ring of tooth structure...think of an egg with just the shell on the outside. If you bite something hard, you can easily fracture a piece of this tooth off, and depending on how bad it breaks, you will have to get the tooth taken out...meaning lost dollars for that root canal.

When the Dentist does a root canal the roots are dead, there
won't be any pain from the tooth. There is no filling in a root canal. You can brush a root canal tooth. It should have a crown on it. Your cheek is probably sore from all the stretching
and pulling on it. I guess you know by now they can stretch your mouth bigger than you ever thought possible. You can
use warm salt water to help heal the soreness and a good
mouthwash to help the bad taste to go away. The best of luck
with the rest of your dental work.

you need to by no potential elect extraction till you have not the different decision. A root canal will save what's left of your teeth and get rid of the contaminated roots. it really is painful, yet no more advantageous than a filling, and by no potential more advantageous annoying. i propose you get the basis canal. in case you get the teeth bumped off, then it would want to impression your different teeth (ie. they could flow) and in case you had to them get the hollow crammed, it really is fairly intense priced to get a alternative one - (which, with the help of ways, is connected into your gum with the help of a metallic rod)!! heavily - the basis canal. i have had a root canal executed two times on an identical teeth (because between the roots might want to no longer be extracted, and it grew to grow to be contaminated again). If it flares up again I even might want to get it extracted, yet i desire it gained't come to that.
