We are travelling to Koh Chang, Thailand, (near Trat and the Cambodian border). We will be there in June and would like a bungalow on the beach on a nice, clean, quiet beach. We don't want crowds, resorts or tourist dens, just a nice chillout spot. Very basic bungalows are O.K. Thanks all.

White Sand Beach (Haad Sai Khao)
is one of the longest beaches on Ko Chang. Bungalows and resorts of reasonable price are easily found. At the back of the beach are orchards of coconut trees and forest. The beach is easily accessible due to many roads passing to it. The name suggests scenic beauty of the area.

Klong Phrao Beach
Laem Chaiyachet is the long seaside adjacent to Kai Bae Beach. The beach is rather steep. Swimming is possible. Standard bungalow with facilities are set. The northernmost of Klong Phrao Beach is adjacent to Chaiyachet Bay and Beach which has beautiful landscape but swimming is not recommended.

Kai Bae Beach
is close to Klong Prao Beach. The beach, like that of Khong Phrao, is steep but swimming is safe. There are also quite a few bungalows in the area.

Bang Bao Fishery Village
is very interesting because residents in the area build up their house with poles pitched into the sea and the bridge reaching to every house is set up to link the community together. Bang Bao is one of the zones rich with corals.

Tan Mayom Waterfall
is the three-storey fall of medium size. The footpath up to the site, situated 500 meters from durian orchard, is near the office of the national park. King Rama V and VI once visited the place and singed their royal names on the highest cliff of the cascade.

i might look at Koh Samui - easily for a huge-unfold time bypass to, - it has its quiet spots, is an island, hire a bike or motor vehicle, takes an hour to stress around the full island, and are available across a place you like maximum, chaweng or Lamai the occasion places, others quiet and sedate, yet plentu to do, while 2 weeks at Koh Vhang or Koh Samet could be in all hazard too long, tremendously in case you strike the wet season, or the circumstances whilst the sea around there is totally of stinging jellyfish, as can happen !
