I want to tone up and lose about 5-10 pounds to get healthy and look good this summer. I would appreciate any tips on diet/exercise/etc. Also, I can do which will help my arms? I feel that they are a bit flabby. I just got a gym membership and am more motivated by classes than machines. Does spinning help? Pilates? Yoga? I'm clueless...

hard one
but you need to work on the bi and tri cepts.
This is a very hard one
But start with 3 days a week and continue to a foruth day
till you hit seven days.
You may also be disappointed in the end if you have too much muscle mass.

cardio 20 minutes every other day and weight training for tone up...better yet go to this website
