do you ever feel like you might be evil? that it wouldnt take much to turn you into a criminal. i dont know what im capable of. sometimes i worry when iread about things in the newspapers and i cant imagine ever being able to do really terrible things but i just dont know. do you think we have a natural mechanism to not be evil (murder, rape, assault...) ? Or do you think you could slide into being an evil person?

The only way one can be evil is when you lose your empathy and respect for others and the law. That is the definition of evil. Lack of empathy and respect for others.
What sets us apart from the rest of the animal kingdom is the ability to reason and know right from wrong. If we didn't, the world would be a very terrible place.

am a christian... bible says we were created to god's image, and it also says god is love.. so we do have a natural mechanism to not be eviol..unfortunately, some people are so sick in their minds, that they lose sense of the good and do bad bad things
