Yes, at the part where Jesus falls and His mother runs to take Him in her arms.

I had just become a mother myself and so I knew just how the Blessed Virgin must have felt.

A very powerful film!

I haven't seen it, but from Veritas' response, I'm reminded of 1 Timothy 5:22, which hadn't been written yet obviously.

I realise this scripture carries the thought of sharing in the sins of others (with an "and" between) but Jesus' was carrying the sins of the world with him during his ordeal, or was that just at the end? Anyway, there is nothing that women can achieve by being sentimental over men.

Yes, I cried. It was so moving, I was on the floor weeping. I don't see how some people can be so crude, whats wrong with people today? It was a very good movie about the Lord who died for us so we would be saved and make it to Heaven if we believe in him. It was hard for me to watch what Jesus had to go through.

All kidding aside...I fairly have consistently felt sorry for previous Pontius. He become a bureaucrat in certainty attempting to get by. i think of of the elementary man or woman is incredibly very similar to him. we don't verify to bypass out on a limb, we are actually not incredibly undesirable, yet we will not rock the boat to do what we anticipate of is sweet.

I was very scared and flinched and jumped alot when Jesus was being whipped and crucified I left the movie theater in a cold sweat and there was a christian behind me praising God through the whole movie he was such an encouragement to me after the movie I gave him a hug but boy what that movie unnerving. I have never experience anything like that.

lol, did you know that after the first ten minutes of the movie, there were only 9 minutes that did not contain any scenes of blood, gore, or violence? Watch The God Who Wasn't There for a more in-depth description of that, as well as pointing out that "bloody Jesus" made exponentially more money in theaters than "singing Jesus" (Jesus Christ Superstar) or "horny Jesus" (The Last Temptation of Christ) combined. Well, at least you Christians showed us clearly just what you like. Can't say I was very surprised.

That film is gratuitous and disgusting. I'd come closer to crying thinking of all the Christians that honestly said they loved such a gorefest. One would almost think Christians were obsessed with suffering...oh yeah, I forgot their symbol is a depiction of THEIR SAVIOR BEING TORTUROUSLY MURDERED.

No way, I don't like fakes. In one scene, they must have used four or five drums of Hollywood blood. And it was all supposed to come from one body. The really make it absurd, after loosing that much blood, when Longinus stuck the spear in, out gushed a couple of quarts more.
Movies would be real dull if they weren't spiced up a bit, but there are limits.

I didn't cry, but I was in awe of how vivid the crucifixtion was displayed. To think, my Lord was willing to go through all of that for me (and you).

No, but I was upset for days. That movie had a very serious impact on me, because it depicted the truth of what really happened, or so they say, but yes, it was a very moving story. I love to munch on popcorn when I go to the movie theater, but this was the first time, I could not even eat it. Unbelievable. But as far as Mel Gibson goes, I have absolutely no respect for him, because of his racist remarks against the Jews. That remark he made showed me how ignorant a man he really is. He is a drunk, with a lot of problems, but he did make an impact with this movie. That will be the last movie I go to like that, as I hate graphic violence, like this movie, but it is so sad so many people went , just to see the blood and guts. The only reason we went, was my neighbor gave us free tickets, as he is a minister, and after that movie, I was really mad, that I had to witness such horror at the movies. I hate blood and guts movies, and anything to do with Mel, as far as his movies go, no thank-you, no more of you..

Yes I did. In fact I cry at any movie I see that has a scene about the crucifixion. I love Christ so much and am truly thankful for his sacrifice, I just wish there had been another way to save us.
