After all, you must purify your flesh.
Doesn't it say in your book to pluck out your eye if it causes you to sin.
You christians are in violation of your own bible!
How do you expect people to trust you when you don't follow your own rules.
I demand that you keep your idiotic thoughts to yourself.
Please try to think this time.
At least I went to college, what did you do?

Your name states that you are agnostic--you wear it like a badge. In all my time here, I've never seen an agnostic trolling in the manner that you are. They just don't do it. This leaves me to believe that you are not agnostic, but someone who is disgruntled and trying to stir up trouble. Have a nice evening.

College grad here, thanks very much.
Castration is not a purification ritual for humans.
Also I don't expect people to trust me.
Further if you wanted my thoughts kept inside, why post a question? You probably don't want to hear that I love you and will pray for you. So I won't say that. What ways does an agnostic purify themselves? It might not be far from what other faiths do.
Keep asking questions and you will soon gain the wisdom that you seek, whether that wisdom includes religion or something else.

Wish you the best!

i love your questions. they're theory upsetting and exciting. That being stated, i hit upon it only somewhat humorous how different Christians are lacking the point and taking offense... to respond to the question, it fairly relies upon on who you're and how you perceive God. i does no longer evaluate having a courting with God an identical as having an imaginary buddy because an imaginary buddy in someone creation that a baby makes up which will be whoever they elect. you do not mould God into some thing - he's who he's. The time period "Christian" is used pretty loosely - i do not evaluate all believers "Christian" because the time period potential that you're *Christ-like*. Believing in God doesn't make you Christ-like. as a way to respond to the most suitable questions, Christians do not assign a function for God. They anticipate the function God positioned out for THEM. Christians do not blame God for his or her sins. Christians repent and make an apology and do not forget that God gave us our personal loose will and what you elect to do is on your hands. Christians recognize that God is actual. Christians do not administration God - They administration their personal selections and reactions and that is all. there are fairly some believers who elect to reword the Bible to make it in good structure their way of existence (as antagonistic to replacing their way of existence to in good structure what the Bible says) yet i do not evaluate them "Christians". i do not realize what precisely you're asking contained in the most suitable question... sorry.

You post an irrelevant, irreverent and idiotic question. Then you demand that I keep my thoughts to myself!

I mean gee, I went to college too does that give me the privilege of flaming people I don't agree with? Did it make you intellectually superior (rhetorical)? The answer is in your question.

You appear to have some serious issues, I will pray for you.

Ok first off where the hell did you get this 'purifying your fleash' crap?

Secondly, the 'pluck out your eye...' is hyperbole: extreme language intented to make a point. In this case Jesus is making a point about how bad sin is and the need to avoid it.

And I'm going to college thank you very much.

The thing about Christianity when practised truly is that its supposed to "rise above" all the hypocrisy simply by means of goodness. Christ conquered the world. It doesn't mean that everything is plain sailing now though. We still have to crucify the passions through Christ's death in order to receive the spirit of peace from God.

If you truly went to college as you state then you would know that an agnostic is open to the possiblity that there is a God. They keep their mind open. You should post an apology to the true agnostics out there for sullying their name.

The bible does say to stab out your eyes if they cause you to sin, but like the vast majority of the bible it is a metaphor. It means if you sin, ask for forgiveness and work as hard as possible to not do it again.

I'm in college hunny ;) I'm roman catholic and proud- stop spreading hate.

Why mind other poeple. Mind yourself, please . Why do you want to stop little children to do good and study good things in life? They are not doing bad things against your person and if you do not believe that inspite of your having learned that there is God who created man and woman, its is okay for us. Maybe you are destined to go to the wrong path however someday, you may regret and ask forgiveness to God.
