Don't wear a hat! You probably don't want to bc it's already hot and you probably have pretty hair.

I was constantly burning my scalp then I decided to try the spray on Sport Coppertone SPF 50. It works awesome & unlike applying regular sunscreen lotion it doesn't grease up your hair. :)

Hope it helps! Nothing hurts like a burnt scalp in the shower. OUCH! :(

Yeah wear a hat! Just kidding, but really that does work. I know what you mean, go to a salon and buy Redken shampoo and conditioner, the conditioner has a built sun screen which won't only protect your hair, but your scalp too, or if you want to save money just put sun screen in your hair, but I wouldn't recommend it

Sunscreen applied directly to the scalp, not the hair. Also professional conditioners have sunscreen in them. Talk to a beauty supply store.

You can wear a scarf or hat when your outside or spray hair with sunscreen (made for hair) and pull hair back in a pony tail so that you hair covers your scalp.

use a revlon shampoo they have it at walmart. and sounds crazy but what i do i add a bit of mint tooth paste to my hair and spread it out throughly. plus wear high ponytails.oh oh oh and also add sun cream to your neck and with the heat it will melt, making the slight mist go to your hair to protect it :+)

Keep your hair in a ponytail when you're out in the sun. I have the same problem and that works for me.
