Well first of all my Lord is not an imaginary friend. He is very much real ok.With that out of the way I'll answer your question honestly.
I don't have evil dreams but I do have dreams that are of the flesh. And yes I have kick some butt in my dreams of people I have not cared for in the real world. God knows all about us asleep or awake - yes he does forgive the flesh. If we had control of our dreams it would be different I guess.

And to the answer above that God sends people to Hell.God doesn't do that- you send yourself because you reject his Son!

Geez get a clue. No one sins in their sleep. To sin is an act, not a dream. I'm not sure what imaginary friend you're talking about. My imaginary friend was laid to rest after I became an adult. However, I assume you are mockingly speaking about God. God does not need to forgive sinful dreams because they are dreams not physical acts.

Hmm. "Sin" usually means a pre-thought-out decision to act contrary to God's requirements. If this holds true, then, no. Unconscious acts that may be considered "Sins" cannot be held for account.

If your definition of "Sin" is simply ANYTHING that is contrary to God's requirements, weither conscious or not, then, yes, people can sin in their sleep. It then becomes a case of weither God holds you accountable for something that cannot be helped due to the current structure of our psychology and brains. That falls under if you consider Him to be a Loving, Forgiving god, or a Vengeful, Spiteful god.

My understanding of Sin, as used in the Bible, tends to agree with the first statement. In every case in the Bible where God punished "sinners," he always gave them some kind of warning that destruction would come if they didn't 'repent.' This implies to me that God implicitly excludes any sins that cannot be repented for, or not acted upon.

Since the Bible states that we live in a "sinful state," having been born into sin, no Christain who takes the Bible literally would ever claim to live "sinlessly." We always sin. That is why I personally ask God to forgive "all my sins, and help me understand sins that I might not realize" (even not in those words).

Along those same lines, Job (from the book of Job) used to sacrifice for his family, his whole family, in hopes that his sacrifice would cover for sins that his children may have committed. A case of "unconsious sinning?"

No, none sins in dreams unless he has cultivated the attitudes or actions in waking life. As St Augustine said, thank God that we are not responsible for our dreams.

Why do you drivel about just Christians. I'm sure that whatever Christians do in their dreams, the others do also.

no besides the undeniable fact that, desires can act as symbolism in direction of sinful issues we've accomplished or think of of. issues we predict of of incorporate sinful including thinking approximately having intercourse with somebody else mutually as married. yet having intercourse with that person in a dream isnt sinful however the which ability at the back of the dream is considering you have theory approximately it in the past.

I am a hard core Roman Catholic, sometimes I dream of having sex with women, which is in the awake world premarital sex, against our beliefs. This I believe is normal dreaming, but as long as one does not act on this type of dream in the awake mode, we can ask God the Father to help us curb the temptations.

You have missed the entire point. I don't know about you, but I have never dreamed "evil" things.
Sin refers to something that a person does consciously, so "NO" a person does NOT sin in his/her sleep.
By the way, PRIDE is a sin.

People are born with Original sin. So we are sinners from the get go. The answer to your question is yes. Being a proud non believer, why even bother asking? Unless you are intrigued....;) peace to you.

Look up original sin. There is the original sin and then the intentional sin. We are forgiven by the grace of our Lord!

obviously you are in no mood to respect people either. my "imaginary friend" is not imaginary. God is real.
and, no, i do not have any so-called evil dreams. people can not control what they are dreaming, so how could it possibly be a sin?
