Ialwayz wanted a dog. i Asked them ever since i was like 6 years old and now i cant wait PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!! HOW CAN I GET THEM TO SAY YES?

Wow u sound like me i got 1 now =] all i did was i promised to feed it/take on walks/play with it and after a few yrs they said ok u can have a dog and plus i said it will keep me busy from doing bad things
And i dont know how old u r soo i dont know if ur parnets think u r responsable =/

Well i took me ten years to finally be able to get a dog but that was because our old houses wernt big pet accessible but anyway, you can show your parents how responsible you are, convince them that you will grom it regulary feed it everyday walk it twice a week but its not only just saying it show them, if you have any friends or neighbours that have dogs ask them if you can take them for walks and stuff your parents will see you mean it and not jsut saying it.

Find a puppy for free and bring it home in a box. Write on the outside of the box; "To 'Your Name' we love you". Leave the box on the porch and walk into the house with the puppy and say; "You got me a puppy, oh, thank you"! When they say; "We not get you a puppy"? Get the box and show them and say; "Well at least someone loves me".
I not say this will work, but, sounds like a game plan to me.
Just, don't tell them about me until your 30 years old.

Just remember puppies need to be trained. Then they grow up. Please don't be like so many people that think the puppy is cute the first year or two, then chain it to a tree in the back yard. Any pet should be treated as part of the family, for life!

well, i got my mother to get me a dog for christmas by insisting for a year every chance i got. i told her how lonely i felt. i really keyed in on the fact that a dog not only could teach me responsibility but could ultimately make my life more complete. if you can prove to your parents that you can handle that responsibility, flaunt it, and put it in their face that you ARE responsible, or if you have a huge b-day or something coming up, keep hinting at what you want.

u can convince them by helping some neighbors or friends take care of their pets everyday that way ur parents will think oh um our son or daughter is so responsible we should get a dog...... and u can get money for helping and get a pet at the same time !!!!!!!!!!!! :p

Remind them on how responsible you are!! make sure you tell them that you will cleanup after them! that always gets them!
