If the Republicans are smart, they are going to nail the Dems to the cross at election time. The Dems stance on so many issues is indefensible, and if the Republicans expose their stupidity and lack of common sense, the Dems are going to look like fools.

For starters, the Dems keep whining that we can't win the war in Iraq. Are they delusional? We are the same country that simultaneously helped crush and Nazis while beating back the Japanese half a world away. All we have to do to prevail in this conflict is get the Iraqi government strong enough to stand on its own. Once that is accomplished, our troops can come home. Support for the insurgents will evaporate since they can't use U.S. occupation as an excuse.

Do the Libs really think we can't get the Iraqi government ready to assume full control soon? Are they so detached from reality?

Murtha is a confused, bitter old man. Like most Libs, he is hilariously hypocritical, and doesn't even have the sense to recognize it.

I think Bush is really shrewd. What can the Democrats do? If they oppose the Iraq war, they'll look like they don't even think our massive and powerful country can handle some third world thugs.

If they oppose the "No Child Left Behind" Act, they'll expose their true lack of interest in actually making children learn (as opposed to just throwing money at the problem)

If they criticize the Patriot Act, he can ask them to cite just one person who was inadvertantly harmed.

Libs like to criticize, but they'll have a hard time convincing America that they have two brain cells to rub together.

I didn't see or hear about this, can you back up the facts with a news article, or how you heard about it. Murtha is against the war in Iraq, he's made that clear, and I don't think he would change his mind on that, the Dems. wanting to win the war, if there is a winable solution to this war, is just common sense, who wouldn't want our country to win. The problem is that no one can justify what constitutes a win in Iraq. What's the war about? Terrorists, Democracy, insurgents, civil war, WMD's, who said the terrorist in Iraq attacked us, last I knew it was Osama Bin Laden, and he's not in Iraq, he didn't attack us from Iraq either, and we let him go in order to attack Iraq, what for??? What's to win??? The soldiers are just trying to keep each other alive till we give them the all clear sign to come home. They have set this as their goal in Iraq, not to get blown up or kidnapped by the enemie, whom of which they don't even know who they are, cause any Iraqi could be the enemy. Anyone could be the enemy. Most of the soldiers they are training work for terrorist, it's a no win situation.

It would make the Democratic party look bad if terrorism was put at a stop because of a Republican president. So they want us to lose, so they can step in and take credit for it.

It is a big political game that has to stop. Instead of putting themselves first, they should put the safety and security of the people first....like what Bush has done.
