Are our mentally warped ypung service men and women, home from Iraq, being cared for? Why is the media so afraid of showing the American Public those inflicted with insanity after being in Iraq? Why do they continue to show only service men and women in starched off-the peck uniforms, and let the American Public forget the mentaly warped soldiers? What really do Nush and the warmongering Senators mean by "Supporting the Troops"? Only when they need vills passes for more money to throw into and waste in Iraq? But no money to care for the insane and mentally ill soldiers who have wasted their lives in Iraq? Oh well...

Mmmhh, guess our troops have to learn the hard way that "Supporting the Troops" never does apply to the dead or mentally-ill soldiers! Oy's like "serve and take your own risk" as far as Bush and the Warmongers are concerned!

Yes Bush and friends don't respect the troops. If they did he couldn't be seen as a War President playing a game that kills real people.

The thing that is quite overwhelming is that he won't say anything about all the women and children being killed in their own homes or out on the street playing.

Where is the media? I noticed that the military has pushed the media to troops putting on a 30 second news bight for the people handing out candies.

It also must be mentioned that this war began shortly after 9/11, when Bush began his "two week" military assault in and out of Iraq -- yes - in two weeks -- there would be crowds of Iraqis lining the streets waving little American flags.

Yes, Bush got us in vile war with out any mention of any proofs

You sort of answered your own question in your own biased way.

But there are programs for returning soldiers, they all get debriefed when they return home to see if they are alright, etc.

And every problem can not be MAGICALLY fixed at once. These things take time, because right now we have a lot of things to worry about. We are still cleaning up the mess Clinton left behind after his presidency....terrorism, lowered funding for the military, etc. No one really even mentions that when he lowered the military budget in '98, that he was depriving the army hospital with millions of dollars (hence why it is in the condition it is in now), or even how he let terrorism get so out of control that 9/11 happened.

All it boils down to is the fact that we can not fix everything at once, but then again, we can't just sit around and complain and moan about it. We should take action. If you feel something should be done, run for office....write a book....go organize a protest...do something other than write this stuff on Yahoo Answers.

mentally warped and insane?

what the hell is wrong with you?
just because some soldiers have a harder time dealing with things than others doesnt make them "warped" or "insane."

and yes... the VA has programs to help soldiers who have been damaged by wars.

Why dont you get your facts straight before you go popping off opinions.

You OBVIOUSLY are not one of the millions of people who have ever been in the service.

Yes. It's called PTSD, and the VA serves more PTSD cases than any other healthcare system in the nation. Heck! They wrote a VAST majority of the work on PTSD, dating all the way back to the days of our grandparents and great grandparents, if not further back even. The terms 1000 yard stare, shellshock, and battle fatigue come to mind.

the respond on your ignorant question isn't any. the U. S. squaddies returning are actually not being taken care of perfect. The VA is giving them selves $33,000, bonuses and asserting they have not the money to maintain up with the wounded and those with psychological issues. those are our troops they deserve extra helpful. as some distance because of the fact the click why might you ask that stupid question? we'd desire to help our troops no be counted what, in case you do not trust the conflict, it fairly is nice yet do not blame our troops. Why do not you pass to Iraq and placed a hood on like something of the cowards over there.? I help THE TROOPS a hundred%..

Why don't you do something, instead of complaining that the government should do it all. Are your legs broken? Is your bank account closed? Stop blaming everyone else and help others yourself.

We know how to treat PTSD in the United States. What do they do in your country?
