I own more guns than anyone here needs to know about. And I've put a gun on my hip or in a pocket on a daily basis for nearly 30 years.
So far I've not had to shoot anyone, but as someone else said, the day ain't over. I have on a number of occasions been in the position that I felt the need to draw my sidearm. In every instance, the person looking down the muzzle of hm pistol remembered an urgent appointment in another county and departed post haste. Since I am not a cop, I didn't try to hinder the departure.
Two maxims have guided me for years.
1 - Better tried by 12 than carried by 6.
2 - It is far better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it.

I own quite a few guns, I enjoy collecting military surplus firearms. I'm currently working on one from every country that entered world war 2. I still got a ways to go. I also have some sporting guns as well.
So far, I consider it a blessing that I haven't had to shoot at anyone yet, and hope I never have to. It is a concern to me, as that the city I live in has been progressively getting worse over the past 15 years. There always is that possibilty that I may have to some day, to defend myself. I really hope that day never comes.

Yes I own a few guns, I use most of them 4 hunting, but I do have 2 that can be used 4 home defence......I have been forced to shoot some one, when he pointed his gun at me he gave me no other option, but I did not kill him, I shot him in the shoulder....not meaning to kill him....It wasn't about killing him it was about saving my own life.....I believe that everyone should own a gun,"to protect themselves"...Not 4 the perpose of killing anyone unless forced to do so.......There is situations that people put them and others in where there is no other choice but , either kill or be killed..

Yes; I own a gun or two. Simply an American citizen exercising my right to own and bear arms as guaranteed by the constitution; written by people who saw what happened to unarmed helpless subjects who endured everything when unarmed. It is not polite to ask people if they have shot anyone. Many people who have been in the military don't even hunt when they return to civilian life; but we still like to target shoot and plink; and we apprecitate our god given freedoms.

Yes, I'm a happy gun owner. Luckily, I've never been in a situation where I needed to shoot somebody. But I am prepared for that event if it needs to happen. If I learned anything from the Boy Scouts, it's to be prepared for the worst.

I do own a gun and yes I have shot someone. Shot him in the leg. That'll teach him to steal from me and attack me with a knife.

I own quite a few guns, but I haven't shot anyone with one of them. I did shoot someone with a slingshot, when I was younger, but that was different.
