Why do Girls Love a man in UNIFORM?

I'm a police officer and yes i will admit it's a benifit, but i've alway's wondered why women love a man in uniform???

It's that clean-cut, untouchable appearance.
And most of them have better social skills than the general populace.

Because it's "manly". No matter how independent we are.. deep down, we still are attracted to a powerfull man. As we mature, we realize more of a balance of confident but not cocky. I personally see cops all the time, so it doesn't do anything for me.. But a military uniform is hot.. for the same reason.
ps.. I also know a few guys that are still "weanies" uniform and all.. poor things.. lol

Its not just the uniform. Like the guy at Mcdonalds in uniform doesn't quite do it. Its the gun, the handcuffs, the power, the car with lights, the tough guy thing. When I see a cop drive by with his lights on, or I see a cop pushing someone against their car, I get really really really really turned on. Sometimes I want to w alk into my local police dept and yell that I am hiding drugs. Just kidding, not really but they are so damn hot. Like candy in clothes. Like big, tough, strong, candy bars with handcuffs and guns. Sorry, I went off on a tangent. Somewhere in there is the answer. Maybe I should just be committed.

This one was entertaining to read the responses. What amuses me is that I know officers that, out of uniform, they are not anything "special" & can't get a girl to give them the time of day. But put them in one, and the bunnies start hopping!! LOL!! It can tend to attract some "interesting" women, though, to put it nicely. :)

Hiii. I'm going to repost this about Badge Bunnies (it fits the topic) from another one that seems too old. I'm new to Yahoo Answers, so I wouldn't know how to become aware of new questions before they're closed to new answers.... I see how people can try to delve in deep in the topic of badge bunnies, going into the shallowness of us badge bunnies and questioning the durability of a relationship with one. All topics are fair to touch on, but I recommend people not to quickly judge the female badge bunnies as wh*res. i do see how the only ones with the rights to bash us would be the police officer wives. And as I see it, it's not only badge bunnies that go after other women's husbands. It happens in general society all the time. Are they less evil because the men are not police officers? As with every other thing in society, I do believe it's a person-to-person basis. It may be casual sex with most badge bunnies, but casual sex is mostly accepted by society to begin with.

I'm personally in a relationship (with whom I love) and I don't disrespect him or our relationship because of my infatuation with police officers. I mean come on.... I'm not some h*rny little girl running after them and drooling. lol! So, it's based on the individual. I'm betting most "badge bunnies" or however they want to call themselves date single officers.

And on the lighter side of things… I guess I never started chasing any of the officers myself because I was afraid to get in trouble or something… LOL! oooohhhh...before I forget- let me mention that it's NOT ok to try to get with a married man. But if a man cheats, it's a TWO-way street, nooot just the woman's fault.

Can't say that I was ever attracted to police, until my husband became one. There is just something sexy about the clean cut appearance - knowing that he is possibly walking into danger on a daily basis - and coming home to ME! :)

I think it shows a man who is strong, but also driven. The jobs that require uniforms are not the easiest, it takes alot of drive and heart to do those jobs.

this is the authority, the crisp strains and vibrant badges and medals, and maximum adult men in uniform have self-discipline and appreciate for authority and others. you recognize that below that saluting soldier there's a lion of a guy. all of it mutually...this is purely warm ;) ?

Why not ask the women flocking around you? I know I don't. Not all uniforms are sexy or hot on guys.

Because it is SEXY! And it is almost like formal wear, like being dressed up. Especially cops are sexy in uniforms because its like they are strong and powerful in their uniforms. And its sorta forbidden territory too! That makes it a challenge. And dangit, it just looks good! LOL!
