Those are all my favorite as well...assuming you include elk with "deer" hunting. I've done bird hunting before but there is nothing like big game trophies! This season will be my second season of bow hunting with a land reserve tag and I hope to get my first kill. If you haven't ever gone hunting with a bow I suggest you try at some point. The equipment can get expensive but it is a completely different challenge and so much fun! Big game is definitely the way to go; good luck this season!

I love hunting just about anything I can eat, with the exception of coyote and fox, which I only shoot if they're on the in-laws property (it's a farm, they go after the horses and chickens.) My favorite to hunt is pheasant, followed closely by deer, turkey and waterfowl.

Specifically I hunt Whitetail deer and Feral hog. Turkey is merely a target of opportunity when I hunt deer.

Deer hunting is just about the same as turkey for waiting all day to see one. I love to hunt with my bow alot more than with my rifle.

I only hunt what I'll eat. Deer, turkey, birds.

Turkey hunting takes patience. You should have waited past 6AM!

Hunting and fishing can be frustrating when you try hard with no results, but it is worth the wait when you get the big one.

Good luck next time!

Southern Cave Fish I'm going this Tuesday. Its a catch and release thing. But I know my Largest is 58mm. And I believe there isn't a Man/Women (Besides close caver friends) alive have ever caught a larger one. I have read of larger but they were two large to be believed . and couldn't be confirmed in any manner. Mine is documented at carrollcave.org look in BIO section.
Above ground hunting I would think rescue and recovery would be my favorite. I am on a cave rescue call out list but thankfully There hasn't been a need and I haven't been called.

I like getting exercise while hunting, spend fall chasing around the fields and creeks of my midwestern state chasing bobwhite quail and pheasant.

I will sit in a deer stand a couple times a year or in a ground blind in the spring for gobblers.

I hunt deer, elk and turkey regularly, use to hunt javelina in Arizona, and once hunted moose in Alaska.
