Shane Ward has a new album out soon, and is going to release it in the countries where he has made it big: UK, Ireland and South Africa.
Leona is in America now, working on a new album with one of the world's biggest labels. Simon Cowell has pulled strings so that she can be mentored by Claude Davis, who has been behind some of the biggest female singers of the past 30 years.
The world will be seeing and hearing much more of her in years to come. She hasn't disappeared without trace.

Good question. Makes you think that winning the X Factor is something of a poisoned chalice because as soon as they have won and had their obligatory No1 single, the industry that created them seems to drop them like hot potatoes.
Surely it would have made sense to get something out by Leona months ago when there was still some momentum and interest out there, rather than to leave doing an album until the next series of the X Factor shows up and her (and Shane's) bandwagons have long since left town.

I thought both Shane and Leona are exceptional singers. The music industry just doesn't pay much attention to them after their first release get a few million in and off with them to the back shelf.Pity. When Leona sang she really did pull my heart string, amazing.
The last I heard of Shane was that he was in hospital for an operation, thats why the song 'Stand by your man'? (i think thats what it was called) didnt get released.

not sure about leona but i know shayne ward is playing the faenol festival in august along with girls aloud and jamelia
