Everybody judges everybody. Judging people is not a bad thing. It is only bad if we judge people based on trivial differences instead of real differences.
If someone is murders someone else, I will judge them negatively. I consider murder to be a bad thing. However, it would be wrong to judge them based just on skin color, because that is a trivial difference and overlooks the other more important characteristics of the person.
Christians are wrong on two accounts here. They are wrong in saying that judging others is bad. That's a blanket statement that doesn't make any real sense. Secondly, they are hypocrites for judging others when they say it is a bad thing.

Jesus said, "forgive them, for they know not what they do". I apply that to the judgemental Christians. They really think that this is what it means to be devoted to God. They only believe what the Bible says and that's all there is for them and it's all literal. I feel sorry for them because their hearts are so cold and they live really empty lives but they convince themselves that they're happy and everyone would be happy if they were Christian. And also, they think they're saving your life because tommorow is always judgement day and none of the Non-Christians think that they have any hope of surviving according to the Bible. What if Judgement Day never gets here? Does that mean Heavan won't arrive either?

Now how many judgmental questions have you actually met? Probably not many, and you only remember them because they made a negative impact on you. If most the examples you can think of are things like Jerry Falwell or stuff you saw or heard about on tv, please don't let that influence your view on Christians. Sadly, there are some like that, but someone like that is not worthy of being called a Christian. Someone who is serious about it would do exactly what you say, open their hearts. Anyone can say they're a Christian, but not all can live like one.

I feel as humans we are all faulted. Everyone thinks they are better than someone, and all of us are different. I am a Christian, but I do not judge someone because they are not. There are a lot of hypocritical Christians out their, but their are just as many non-Christians that judge others. I for one don't feel it is my place to judge, and I hope I teach my children that. I think we should help each other, judging just hurts others.

Actually, we should let the scripture do the judging. In the light of scripture, all things are revealed. In the end, God is the judge of all, anyway. We were never appointed to judge anyone - just represent the Gospel the best way we can.

This is like asking why are people not perfect. Also, I suggest you re-read the Bible. There are very specific incidents written about where Jesus did judge people.

I don't think that most Christians do judge those who aren't Christians. It sounds more like your generalising how Christians are. There are definitely those that do judge and they always seem so noticeable compared to the rest of Christians who may not be judging, but you may not also notice that they are Christians if they are just passing you by (and not judging non-Christians).

Many of the older generation of christians practice legalistic christianity using scriptures like bible darts to toss around perverted legalistic views, i would recommend finding a young, charasmatic, church with contemporary worship and maybe your view will change

Because these people do not understand the true meaning of love one another and most I believe that spend their days judging others are not true followers of Christ

I opened my heart to everybody, except black people, gipsies, womans, doctors and gays. And I'm a Christian. What this have to do with the religion? We are what we are or what they meant us to be. Even the religion that we recognize today is not the original, modified by people likke me or you...And then this happens...we loose our faith and we begin to ask questions...
