You can turn it to auto or off, in auto mode it automatically dims the mirror at night to help keep headlight glare down. Works great.

That is the auto parking button.
You put your jeep in neutral step out and lock the door with the engine running.
Make sure you push the button first, or it will just roll and crash.
It will go right in the garage and shut itself off in a minute.

"auto" on the kirror make it where its automaticly adjusted for non glare night driving always seemed to work well on mine and saves frome having to adjust mirrors as often as u do w manuel
