Yes she was. I read it in a Uriah Smith commentary (have it in my computer), starting in Daniel 11:17. It describes her marriage and death by a viper. Daniel 10 and 11 are chronologies of governments, quite interesting.
I think you can find DANIEL AND REVELATION by Uriah Smith posted on the internet for free reading because it is public domain. Begin reading about page 0261.
And he also describes Islam and Napoleon, too. You can read THE RISE, DECLINE, AND DEATH OF ISLAM IN BIBLE PROPHECY on the internet at http://abiblecode.tripod.com/islam.htm

Cleopatra, the Egyptian Queen, was the mistress of King Herod the Great, but the King Herod normally referred to in the Bible was his son who ruled over the area of Gallilee (sp?). I don't believe Cleopatra was ever mentioned in the Bible.

I can't find her there. Cleopatra of Anthony and Cleopatra was not married to King Herod.A different Cleopatra was one of that Herod's wives. Cleopatra was a common Greek name. There were many Cleopatra queens of the Ptolemy Line in Post-Alexander Egypt.

Cleopatra was never married to Herod, she was married to Cesar and then had an affair with Marc Anthony, she died about 40 years before Christ was born. The Emperor Cesar Augustus was just a boy when that happened, but when Christ was born, Cesar Augustus was an old man. this will give you a sense of what occurred in human terms. plus Cleopatra was an Egyptian queen who had nothing to do with the social or historical reality of Judea.

Cleopatra is not in the Bible, nor was she Herod's wife. She was called Herodias.

Cleopatra died long before Herod ruled, and she was married to Caesar and Antony, never anyone else.

No. You may want to look again at Mrs. Herod's name. If it is the same name, it is certainly not the same one as Mark A.'s old lady.

significant reason is by using none of their lives have been lived in Judea or Jerusalem. Nor did it have something to do with the Jewish people the two rapidly or circuitously. . Their lives have been performed out in Egypt, Rome, and Greece no longer Judea what's now cutting-area-day Israel.
