This question was previously posted over at Singles and Dating, but you know how stupid people are over there.

The thing is, my girlfriend is not currently on the main list, and, honestly, I doubt she ever will be. How can, "main listers" like myself celebrate in a way that is non-offensive to others?

If you are on the "main list" and you fear celebrating that with your girlfriend, and even state she will probably not, maybe you should find another gf that you think is acceptable for the "main list" what ever that is.

I for one must not be a "main lister" :( and I guess my husband is not either (unless he is like you and does not want to tell me in fear of offending me).

I am not in the in crowd, don't have the slightest idea what the main list is. But good luck with that. Is it really that great if it offends others or others are hurt by it? What good is something you are afraid to share?

I'm sorry - it looks like your nickname is 'humble......' - but you sound like you are very superficial and arrogant. I think you should post this question on the secret 'main-listers' only web-site so that it may be properly answered.
