I am hocking up mucous all day sometimes the size of raw eggs! What the heck?! Is this normal during koshering

Is there some remedy for it or could it be a worm or something else? How would I know and what can I do if it's a worm?

If you've given up smoking for the first time, that could cause it.
Otherwise check out the possibility of allergies.
