What was God doing in Heaven before he created the earth and people?

Look up into the sky at night. God was creating those specks of light that you see! Scientists say that the universe goes on forever into eternity, and since God has no beginning, He has been around for eternal amounts of time. He was creating the universe before He created us. I actually don't think that we are the only living creatures in the universe. I think it's totally possible that there are other planets or worlds with life on them. God is a creator God, and He has always been.

First of all there are some sad people out there giving answers.
God doesn't have a beginning or an end. His ways are higher than our ways, so is who he is, our human minds cannot conceive what you are asking.
I feel he may not even experience time as we do. He could be holding a time line in his hands with it all laid out before him.
His plan for his children and time was all predetermined (see Ephesians 1).
A more direct answer, he created the angels before man.

Eternity is hard for our finite minds to understand. Likely He was doing the same as he is doing now.
It's a big Universe -- bigger than our finite minds have yet imagined

well earth appeared to exist before..and it was recorded under water and void.(dinosaurs dead..yet, seem manlike being too..and satan was on the loose during all of this).
after man satan appeared to them..and then man fell..yet..GOD said..satan man will crush you..so in short..GOD is using MAN born of earth and GOD..to control satan..which is said in revelation.

There was angels. before angels ..... we are going way way back now..... there may of been something more, perhaps others like God.... perhaps bothers and sisters.
