1. The Shroud of Turin is a fake.
2. Jesus was not divine.
3. DNA tends to deteriorate, with some of the areas most vital to distinguishing between species being some of the first to go. Jurassic Park is not possible, and neither is bringing back Jesus. He's dead and will always be dead.

Just a map? why stop there? didn't you see Jurassic Park? How about making a copy of Jesus, might not want to use frogs to fill in any missing bits, that didn't work out so well for Jurassic Park, but Jesus' mother was human so using human DNA would probably work well enough.
In fact this opens up possibilities, since the provenance of the shroud is uncertain ,and quality and quantity of any DNA sample that might be retrieved is questionable, one could just tweak the data form the human genome project (which was BTW, a fairly large undertaking) a little and just claim you have the genetic map of the "God-father" and since man was allegedly created in Gods image, who could prove you wrong? One could even take a human baby and claim one had cloned Jesus. Sure, only a very limited number of people would actually believe you, but it could be enough for a substantial cult.
One risk is that some of those who didn't believe you might be quite annoyed, and some of those could be descendants of people who thought burring at the stake was a good idea, so you may want to think carefully before undertaking this project. :-)

First the shroud of Turin is the cloth that Joseph of aramathia used to wrap jesus in after being taken down.jesus was prepared further latter and wrapped with other clothes and the one piece cloth laid on top like a sheet on resurrection morning the power of god raised jesus and the blood stains were changed to an iron xray imprint. Their are rumors that a few strands of blood stained cloth were DNA tested and that the test showed the absence of human father DNA. As to their being any plans of using that DNA to clone jesus.first we don't have the technology to bring dead DNA back to a clonable state. Second Evan if the DNA was viable its missing the earthly father DNA that would let the cells replicate! But at least we know now with a fair degree of certainty that the embedded image is indeed the xray imprint of the real jesus and can make a decent reproduction of his appearance!

(Luke 24:12) 12 [[But Peter rose and ran to the memorial tomb, and, stooping forward, he beheld the bandages alone. So he went off, wondering within himself at what had occurred.]]
(John 20:3-5) . . .Then Peter and the other disciple went out and started for the memorial tomb. 4 Yes, the two together began to run; but the other disciple ran ahead of Peter with greater speed and reached the memorial tomb first. 5 And, stooping forward, he beheld the bandages lying. . .

Actually, there are current findings suggesting that the shroud is not the one used for Jesus.
