It's the government that doesn't want us using it, not God. Besides, George Washington used to have a hemp farm. Used the stuff for ropes and paper. It could certainly save a lot of trees. Smoking it may not be the best use for it, but it does have many benefits.

Marijuana was given by nature to be used as medicine to help cure an ailment or disease. It is given like water to quench your thirst and not to drown yourself with it.
Everything that you can find in this world is a to be used for the right reason with a right amount, even the venom of a snake if properly administered will counter the poison from the bite of the same snake.
Using is different from misusing and abusing.
Early Chinese herbalist and even the early American Indians knew its usages and there were times they can even find spiritual experiences out of it. They also knew long time ago how it can be dangerously used to self inflict or to inflict an enemy.
As everything on earth is useful and functional for saving lives, the same everything can be used for maiming or killing the same lives.

There are many medicinal qualities about marijauna. You can abuse anything. But anything that came with this Earth is of God. And as we've all been told, God don't make mistakes.

You're preaching to the choir when you speak to me about marijuana - there's so much research detailing its benefits to human health, I find it frankly astonishing that it is still classified as an illegal substance. Perhaps the pharmaceuticals have a hand in this? People can grow their own so they can't make profit? But regarding your premise that God gave us this incredibly valuable medicinal plant, I must disagree.
It is a product of our Earth Mother. The source of all life on this planet.
