Yes, I've thought about that since I was a kid. I think your point is quite brilliant, actually.

This refers to the parents are watching the children whether their bad or good. My kids still believe in Santa. And they look forward to him coming every year. But, at the sametime I also have taught them they Baby Jesus was born on Christmas and explained the whole story. I mixed the 2 saying that God picked Santa to bring joy to the world because everyone is very happy about Jesus.
We have a great Christmas with little or a lot of presents. But that isn't what Christmas is about. I never ask or want nothing. If I need something I buy it when I need it.

Well, seems that Santa cares if you cry and pout, whereas Jesus or God would not penalize you for such activity.

Sure, why not? Believing Santa Claus is GOD... what the heck, believing in either is crazy anyhow, so if it makes you feel good, go for it.

Santa is better than God. At least Santa does something good for people. All God ever does is threaten us with everlasting hell.
Well, he also throws in a few floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, wars, murders, rapes, etc.

Here's what I think:
SANTA....SATAN
1. Both have the same letters in their name.
2. Both wear Red and Black
3. Both know when you are sleeping, and know when you're awake.
I'm not drawing any conclusions, I'm just saying there are more than a few coincidences.....

no. God has the book of life, he's everywhere so never has to leave anywhere to go somewhere else, and you don't get rewarded for being good unless your a christian. then in heaven will you get rewarded for good deeds.

acutally with the 17 billion in blackmail money by the pelosi/reid regime with the iraqi bill, to his constituents, Harry Reid could be argued as Santa Claus personified so its a tossup.
