I would be more upset if they failed to make a decision for Christ and ended up in Hell.

I'll worry about worldly fallacies last.

That would be awesome.

What, archaeologists and paleontologists can't be Christians, or at least creationists? I beg to differ. A fair number of them ARE Christians, and absolutely NO archaeological discoveries have run counter to the Bible. The only ones that were thought to have been proven to be fakes.

Edit: Anthropology, though dominated by atheists, does contain quite a few creationists. So my answer is still no, I would not be upset.

No, I would be proud. There is no rule stating that a paleontologist or archaeologist can't believe in the Bible and creationism. I am a creationist going into Zoology. I know I will be taking classes on the theory of evolution. I will be taught that scientists BELIEVE that the Earth has been around billions of years. I don't have to believe it. Neither would my child. As I said, I should be very proud.

I think doing creationist paleontology sort of precludes world fame unless you count being featured as a distinguished scientist on Kent Hovind's website as world famous.

No not at all, there's much in archaeology that helps support biblical claims, places, people and beliefs. Either of those would be ok with me, providing they are happy. It would be awesome!

Since atheists have now declared atheism to be a religion, that puts your question under the heading of proselytizing
right?

I don't care what they do as long as they are happy and doing what they want with their lives and not hurting anyone.
