Why not live with her for a few days and find out what she's like, what her personality is, and what are her quirks. That way, you'll come up with a perfect name!

I love Great Danes...they almost remind me of small horses... :) For that reason, I would recommend the name "Beauty" (as in 'Black Beauty')
I also get a kick out of giving pets very elaborate "official" names, and then having a nickname I call them by on a more frequent basis. (my cat's name is Czarina Catherine the Great, but I'll call her Cat.)

I had a large doberman- a pedigree but was too big for showing, so his previous owners told me. They called him Tyson after Mike. 'Cause he was big and black! Ok, the gender doesn't fit, but what the hell??!! It's short and she will quickly learn to respond to it. I also had a mate who called his German Shepard 'Dog' because he couldn't think of a name. Again, short and the dog quickly learned to recognise it.

Something regal. But give her a chance to "tell" you what name she wants to be called. If you have other dogs, don't give her a name that rhymes with one of theirs.

Put "names" in your google and you'll get more names than you know what to do with.
