If you do, then why did we have to spend 5 Trillion dollars building that arsenal, plus spend more money on weapons of mass destruction and defense than the rest of the world combined EVERY YEAR?

If you don't think they would attack, then why do you think Iran is a threat, if that is your belief?

If you don't think they would attack, and you don't think that the U.S. government is worried about an attack either, then why do you think the U.S. is planning an attack, which the evidence shows.

The US arsenal has nothing to do with Iran.

It is there to supply military contractors with billions and trillions of US tax dollars.

Iran has no interest in attacking the US. However, it would like not to be attacked by the US, hence it seeks nuclear capability.

No, I don't think Iran would "overtly" attack the U.S. What if Iran developed nuclear weapons, and secretly passed one along to Al Quaeda, who in turn smuggled it into the U.S. Are they crazy enough to do it? From the looks of things, I sure wouldn't bet against it. Not when the stakes are whether a nuke is detonated in my backyard. If you think 9-11 was bad you should see what a nuke can do! You probably don't want to hear this, but shouldn't we attack Iran if they are getting close to nukes?

Basically, the world governments are against "nuclear proliferation" in general. Countries like Iran that are not U.S. allies that seek nuclear weapons is, by definition, a threatening proposition.

Let us also not forget Iran's stance towards Israel.

If they wanted to commit national suicide, yes. This is a bargaining chip for a very irrational president in Iran. The problem is you never know about people like that. By the way, we don't have that many, but if we wanted/had to, we have more than enough to make Iran flatter and glow green in the dark for the next 2,000 year's.

It is not the point that Iran the country has a nuke to attack that United States. With that nuke they would dominate the region. Not only that but they are known supporters of terrorism. What do we do when a terrorist cell gets their hands on one? Then we have a real problem.

we need to worry about China before we worry about Iran. China has spent the last decade building up their army and have spent trillions of dollars in arms.

If Iran is willing to accept complete destruction, then they would attack.

Terrorists would. If a country attacked us with a WMD, we would blow them up faster than you could say "Pushthebutton"
We can't blame any one country, and it would lead to a long search for the Islamofacists who perpatrated the crime.
