A lot of Mexicans, including non-citizens, are in the military in Iraq fighting and dying like the rest of our brothers and sisters in arms.
If you served our country like i have, you'd already know that.

Yes, they should have to show how bad they want to be in in our country. Give them a gun and send them to Iraq. If they can serve 2 years over there, then they can come back and apply for citizenship. I don't understand why they receive all the benefits of an American Citizen, but do not have to pledge support and put their lives on the line for this country. My son is on his second tour of Iraq and believe me, as an American citizen he is proud to do so. So if all these illegals want to complain about their rights, let them also have the "right" to defend this country. I am sick to death of them demanding their rights, while waving the Mexican flag, in America. I can't go anywhere anymore without seeing everything translated into Spanish. English is the language of America and if you want to stay, LEARN IT! What really bites is going to the voting booth and seeing all the different languages in the booth. If you can't speak ENGLISH, DON'T LET THEM VOTE!

Now that's an interesting concept. They enter the US illegally, but want all of the privileges of citizenship. Seems to me they should also have the same responsibilities as legal US citizens have...including military duty in Iraq. Not a bad point.

immigrants, where I said
We should send them over to Iraq to fight for our country
and the give their Z-visa's.
Not all of the Mexicans are here illegally, and a there a
a lot of them that have fought and are fighting in Iraq

Thins or thinks? Spell check anyone? First of all not all illegals are Mexican. There are some people believe it or not that have served and were found out to be illegal. They were that supportive of the US that they were granted citizenship. Why don't politicians send their kids to war, aren't they patriotic enough? If your a citizen why don't you go?

I agree with Amanda on this one. I too think that if the illegals want to be here so bad, they should have to strap on a gun and go fight for their right to be called an American.

Many Americans that are Mexican are over there now fighting for the USA. Many of all race and nationality are there. What is your point? I would like them all to come home before October!

It's already being done, offering illegals a path to legal residency if they sign up for the military, and some do it and do a great job but if it was made mandatory, most of the illegals would deport themselves back home.
