Here is a great salad recipe. It always gets great reviews whenever I take it to a gathering.

Seven Layer Salad

10-12 servings 20 min prep
1 head lettuce (large)
1 (10 ounce) package frozen English peas
2-3 green onions, chopped
11/2 c sliced celery, thin
3 hard-boiled eggs, boiled (save one egg for topping)
1-2 large tomatoes, diced
1/2 lb bacon, cooked crisp
mayonnaise
1 tsp sugar
sprinkle of seasoning salt like Lawrys
swiss cheese, grated (or cheddar or parmasen )

Layer first 5 ingredients in a shallow dish. (9x13)
Spread mayonnaise over the top as if you were icing a cake.
Sprinkle with sugar and the seasoning salt
Sprinkle Swiss cheese over the mayonnaise and chill.
This taste best when chilled overnight.
Just before serving, arrange bacon, tomatoes and egg over all.
Enjoy!

Mix up some BBQ sauce and couple packs of Little Smokies in your crockpot.
If you have time tonight you can get a boneless pork butt roast, put it in a crockpot with some seasoning, after about 2 hours pour a can of coke and put some brown sugar on it. After 4 hours remove and let it cook just a bit. Then take two forks and begin to shred it, or if you have a food processor cut it into cubes and shred in the processor. Mix the shredded meat with your favorite BBQ sauce, put back in crock pot and heat it through. Serve on buns. This is delicious!!
Deviled eggs are always a big hit!

Get the cheapest beef roast you can find. Put it in your crockpot with a jar of pepperoncinis with the juice, some chopped up onions and a packet of good seasons italian dressing (the dry stuff). cook it all night. Then get some rolls. Best beef sandwiches anyone will ever taste. You can also add green peppers. If you don't have a crockpot you can do it in your oven on 300' for several hours. Until its really tender and falling apart.

Try these. They're quick, portable, and filling! Feel free to adapt the meat and cheese to suit your tastes. This recipe is pretty flexible.

INGREDIENTS
2 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/4 pound thinly sliced boiled ham
1/4 pound thinly sliced provolone cheese
1/4 pound thinly sliced Swiss cheese
1/4 pound thinly sliced Genoa salami
1/4 pound thinly sliced pepperoni sausage
1 (12 ounce) jar roasted red peppers, drained, cut into thin strips
3 eggs
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 C).
Unroll one package of crescent roll dough, and cover the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Pre-bake bottom only for 5-7 min. Pat the red peppers dry with a paper towel.

Layer the ham, provolone cheese, Swiss cheese, salami, pepperoni, and red peppers, on top of the dough.
In a bowl, beat the eggs lightly, and stir in the parmesan cheese and black pepper. Pour 3/4 of this mixture over the peppers. Unroll the second package of dough, and place over the top of the peppers. Brush with the remaining egg mixture. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove foil, and bake another 10 to 20 minutes, or until dough is fluffy and golden brown. Cut into squares. Serve warm, or at room temperature.

Makes 10-15 servings (depending on square size)

Hmmm....there's a dip you additionally could make it fairly is elementary. this is purely cream cheese and the two green or purple jalapeno peppers (in spite of point of hotness you like). you're taking the two and unload the completed contents and combination them. convey tortilla chips. in case you prefer to do something slightly extra extra effective than that, in line with possibility warm canine casserole. you're taking warm canines (fry 'em). Take a casserole dish, placed baked beans on the backside, place the nice and comfortable canines on precise, take some canned chili and layer over that, conceal the full element with shredded cheese. Or in case you attempt to be healthful, purely make a vegetable tray and bring distinctive dips.
