Im a little confused as to what you are asking.

Im sorry that you are feeling offeneded by the song "letterbomb"

It was not wriiten about you, for you or at you. Its a song. That millions and millions of people hear. Some may relate to it, others may hate it, love it or jsut flat out disagree with it.

Don't let one little song make you upset.

Besides, They are not being rude in anyway. Have you not listened to any of their other CD's. "Letterbomb" is hardley a put down song from them.

If you want a put down song from wonderful Green Day, try "Platypus I hate you"

o.k. so i'm a huge green day fan. And the song letter bomb isn't suppose to put you down. it's a part of a rock opera. if you listen to the WHOLE CD of American Idiot by Green Day you will find that it is about a girl called Whatsername breaking up with a boy called St. Jimmy or JOS whitch I think are the same people, i'm not sure, actually Green Day isn't quite sure if they are two people are one person. But whatever. so ya.

prog rock from what era? are we talking the greater symphonic metallic? some examples of bands you experience slot in to this variety would help me out slightly. (each and every physique seems to have a various theory of what inventive rock is) i'm going to edit my answer in case you answer this below your edit information!. :)
