With time the skin should retain it's elasticity (ability to stretch and tighten). When fat is quickly lost, the skin sometimes can't keep up.

In short, it's normal. You can go to the doctor and have it removed, but otherwise, most of it will go away with some time.

crunches give u nice abs but do nothing to loose that lovely excess skin. Unless you are that obsessed with your look, I would suggest a plastic surgery. Or, you can work on that running a little longer and perhaps the belly skin would leave. Remember, if you just lost more than a few pounds quickly, there will be extra skin leftover and possibly stretch marks. Patience, You'll get there if you're determined!

if you've just lost weight, give it a year or so to see if it bounces back. That's a long time, but its FREE. If you just have extra skin and didn't lose weight, then it looks like surgery is your only option. Sorry.

Sadie is correct, the only way to get rid of excess skin is to have it removed.

Once skin has lost its elasticity, that's it.

Eat nutritionally dense food and exercise. The alternative is a tummy tuck.
