It is NOT a religion, as you should be well aware; it is the denial of the validity of any religion. And, of course, no houses of worship are necessary for people that are smart enough to not do so.

Most churches that don't self-identify as "evangelical" endorse evolution. Creationism is a purely fundamentalist phenomenon.

Atheism is compatible with both Unitarian-Universalism and the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). I'm sure there are others.

In fact, the 1st UU Church in Providence, RI, had both an atheist and a Buddhist pastor back in the '80s, if I'm not mistaken.

Posting a technological information question interior the religion and spirituality section in many circumstances means the asker would not probably prefer an answer. His objective is to ask a query that he believes proves some medical wisdom to be incorrect, or that technological information would not yet answer, and make the implicit declare that the only different clarification is a god, and particularly, a similar god he happens to have faith in. this is the "god of the gaps" - intellectually bankrupt, because of the fact it favors lack of information fairly of wisdom, and due to the contained logical fallacy - and this is achieved very just about completely by christians. even however, on the off possibility which you fairly need to understand the respond: declare CI010: training can't be created by the two organic methods or possibility, so there's a regulation of conservation of training. reaction: one million. Dembski defines his training as Shannon uncertainty, that's equivalent to entropy. all of us understand that entropy can and does develop. Dembski's regulation of conservation of training is purely incorrect. 2. No known concept of training (i.e., the statistical concept of Shannon et al, and the algorithmic concept of Kolmogorov, Chaitin, and Solomonoff) has a regulation of conservation of training. William Dembski and Werner Gitt have each and every invented their very own nonstandard training theories, yet neither of those theories is used in technological information or engineering, and their claims are actually not supported by the great physique of learn into training concept. 3. whether there have been a regulation of conservation of training, it would not inevitably invalidate evolution. training is transferred from the ambience to organisms by organic selection and different methods. 4. frequently, actual rules get to be seen rules whilst they're examined and general by self sustaining materials under very many countless circumstances. For Dembski to declare a clean actual regulation with out any testing by any means is hubris of the optimal magnitude.

Some Atheist people supposedly go to Unitarian Universalist churches. And many Christians - even some evangelicals - accept the theory of evolution.
