Very arrogant and very presumptuous. Do they really think that they think they get to decide?
I always laugh when I read "I KNOW where I will be."

only the top 100, dam i am not sure i will make it lol. okay okay, i wouldn't take it that serious if a person strongly believes they got that ticket in heaven. its a form of wishful thinking.
on the funny side its almost the same as a student who failed the midterm and final and thinks he deserves to pass the class because he was present most of the time and that was a big effort lol. just like the teacher makes the last call on that grade, God will make the last call in heaven, so let him laugh a little and make that call.
personally i think that if there is a heaven, iam sure up in there. i am not perfect, but i feel i got some good intentions most of the time. a 65 is passing right lol. iam just playing people, so dont get to tight.

That's a great point because christians today ignore whatever parts of the bible they feel are dated or irrelevant in this time. So they are technically not following god's guidelines and thus would not be going to the place they cling to so dearly for comfort and the satisfaction of knowing that they will not simply blink out of existence when they die.
I am 27 years old and i've met hundreds of thousands of people in my relatively short lifetime..... and of all the christians i have met I have yet to meet a single one who follows god's rules to the T and is worthy enough to enter heaven..... yet every single one of them claims that is where they're going when they die.
I think it's quite arrogant to think that by simply believing there is a god & going to church every sunday they have secured their penthouse in heaven.
Oh well, let them live in their delusions.

No, but Mr. Rogers Neighborhood doesn't sound that bad, and besides saying "I'm going to Heaven" sounds a lot better than saying "I'm going to Hell." And what's the harm in thinking that way?

No one can say for sure that they are getting in but in order to be Saved...ie.saved from the penalty of sin (which is death) you have to, without a doubt, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Thats what the sinner's prayer is about-confessing that. Jesus said 'No man cometh unto the Father but by Me.' So if you dont accept Jesus, you dont have to even worry about the 'if'...you just arent getting in. Once you are saved though, you cannot lose your salvation short of denouncing Jesus as Lord because all other sin, is forgivable.
As far as people who never hear of Jesus or grew up with different Gods, the Bible speaks of the Great White Throne Judgment where people whose eyes and ears were closed to God will get the opportunity to accept Christ. You wont hear it from many hardline Christians but Jesus said that it will be more tolerable for the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, Tyre and Sidon (where people never witnessed the miracles of Jesus) than for Bethsaida, Capernaum, and Chorazin (cities whose people received the Word from the Disciples) and did not Believe. (Wow...that means that God would have mercy on....gays? ??Yes..if they would accept Him because He wants all to be saved.)
So yes, it is arrogant for anyone to assume, Christian or non believer....that you can ever be a 'good enough person' that you have guaranteed your spot. But accepting Christ is an important first step....

well see? they believe their god required a blood sacrifice in order to be forgiving so he sacrificed himself to himself so he could forgive the humans he created imperfectly for being imperfect. it was all a part of their god's big plan from the very beginning. their god knew in advance of creating humans that his workmanship would be flawed so becoming a human blood sacrifice was the only way he could come up with to salvage humanity.
somehow this makes sense to Christians and because this makes sense to them they're going to heaven while anyone not making sense out of such stuff goes to hell.
your soul's salvation and your entry ticket to eternal bliss is totally dependent on having the ability to disregard your logical mind.
PS. besides, it's okay for Christian folks to be arrogant in front of the evil world as long as they're properly humble in front of their god. all ya have to do is join their exclusivity club and you'll get to be arrogant too. it's just one of the many perks you'll receive for joining the right religion.

It is very presumptuous to say that. The bible says how scarcely the righteous get into heaven. I am a believer by the way.

i personally HATE to talk about this subject, but please, you could cause some people to have a mental breakdown. It really depends on your religion. Unless its a religious question, like what are all of the holidays for jewish people. I think that, (being a christian/catholic) if you believe, and have total faith, and ask for forgiveness, you will go to heaven. But that is just MY opinon, not really to answer your question, its all opinionated and you won't ever find a right or wrong answer to this question. I find your qestion offensive and "aragont" if you ask me. It's rude and unbelievable. You might want to refresh your manners, or your gonna get yourself into REAL trouble. You people are so rude, i am so pissed right now. Stick to your own religions and go f off. If you don't want to approach it with an open mind, then don't TRY TO. YOU MAKE ME ABSOLUTELY SICK! WHY DON'T YOU READ THE BIBLE OR SOMETHING! God forgives when you ask him for forgiveness. i know i won't be seeing YOU in heaven. This phenomonon is just to big to just end when you die, theres more to life. If not, then how can you explain people to have been visited by deseased relatives? AND IF YOU BOTHERED TO DO SOME RESEARCH ABOUT CATHOLIC AND CHRISTIANITY, THEN YOU WOULD HEAR GOD'S WORD, AND IF YOUR UPSET BECAUSE I'M MAD, YOU SHOULD EXPECT SOME PEOPLE TO IF YOU ASK SUCH A SELFISH QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
