Start with the basics to rule out allergies:
switch to no fragrance no dye detergent and then don't use any dryer sheets or softeners. Air dry your sheets. If you still itch after, I have no clue why.

Might be because of dry skin... I get that too, it doesn't bother me during the day, but when I get in bed, my back itches everywhere! I get my bf to rub lotion on my back, works like a charm ; )

Not trying to be funny but how often do you wash your covers and do you take a shower before you go to bed?
Try washing your covers in a dye free and perfume free detergent like All free & clear that might help.

It's because most of the day you're busy and you don't feel it, but on your bed, you're completely relax and your body starts to hurt a little and itch

Is your mattress old? It could be dust mites. The live and reproduce in mattresses...which is why old mattresses are very heavy. Dust mites in the old mattress can also contribute to being congested once you go to bed, but no where else.
Have you washed your sheets?
These are just two ideas.

If you have pets, you could have fleas in the bed.
If you have just switched laundry detergents, you could be allergic to the new product.
Other than that...can't think of anything.

You have bed bugs. Wash your entire bedding with bleach or color safe bleach. You might want to shower at night before turning in. : )

how old is your matress? You may need to flip it or get rid of it. Bacteria and microorganisms can build up and cause you to itch at night.
