I am so sorry for how you're feeling. It does sound like you may have a hormonal/chemical imbalance. You need to see your doctor ASAP. Get on an antidepressants that will help to balance your moods out.

I wish you well. Good luck.

Hi vicky,

Feeling lonely in a crowd and amongst friends is something I also can relate to.

But you know that being well-off, having friends and a relationship is not what brings true happiness. The fact is that money and contacts may come and go. What remains is you. It is about you. It is about you thinking of what is important in your own life. It is about you feeling happy about yourself and not just your situation.

Also, I believe that feeling unhappy and crying will make you stronger. This is true inner expression.

Spend time developing and working on yourself. This may envolve seeing a psychologist for example. Remember though that feeling sad is also a part of life and no-one can always feel happy. On one side you have "happiness" and on the other side you have meaning, emotions, learning and development.

Please get a complete physical and if nothing unusual is found you must seek professional assistance as soon as possible because no one should feel miserable all the time.
It also seems like you haven't learned to enjoy the pleasure on your own company or appreciate yourself as the wonderful person you are. If you're trying to find happiness from external sources you cannot obtain true peace and joy - this only comes from within. Stuff/things/possessions and/or other people can't do this for you.

I wish you the best!!!

You may just have to redefine "happiness". I would not recommend pills. try very hard to find counseling that does not involve medication. Occupational therapy or whatever it takes for you to occupy your mind with things other than how you feel. Get busy and get focused on someone else- volunteer at an animal shelter or a hospital.
Good luck- you WILL feel better soon.

Try doing something fun with friends, eating some of your favorite foods or something. If your life feels empty try doing a sport or hobby that is fulfilling to you. If you don't get good grades in school, try studying harder and participating more, getting good grades makes me happy.

Well, if you're a teenager, or between 11-21 it happens to everyone. It's your hormones changing. if you're older than that, go see a doctor about getting on some medicine that will help balance your moods.

You might have clinical depression. I suggest seeing a professional. A simple prescription for an anti-depressant may be all it takes. Life is too short to be unhappy. Best wishes!

First, find someone to talk to..........maybe someone that is totally unrelated to the situation...........but find someone.
You need to talk this out. Something is unsettled in your life.
Have you tried talking to God? He is always there, whether we need him or not, and he knows what's in your heart.
