If shaving shouldn't be continued, please tell me what to do to get my legs clean and silky smooth (an maybe a sensitive skin tanner)

1] don't shave for a few days [ let the irritation rest/heal ]
2] shave in the bathtub! Soak for 10-15 minutes before you shave - this will open up the pores a bit and make the hair softer, and easier to shave off.
3] use a good quality razor, at least double track, and only use it 3-4 times.
4] buy shave gel for sensitive skin or extra protection
5] prop foot on side of tub/faucet. Put 50 cent size gel in your hand, and apply to lower leg from ankles to above knees.
6] shave from ankle to knee, one direction only, covering each area more than once. Do 3-4 shave strokes at a time, then rinse blade.
7] flex toes up to knees to shave backs of ankles [ less likely
to nick Achilles tendon ].
8] try shaving your knees with legs with legs straight, or bent, depending on how you prefer
9] apply 25 cents of shaving gel to thigh, and shave from knee to groin
10] repeat on other side
11] apply lotion for sensitive skin, etc, after completely dry [ dry your whole body first, so the pores are closed ]

Sounds like razor burn to me. What you'll be able to do: a million) Change your razor commonly - a pointy razor is much less frustrating. two) Don't shave reverse the path that the hair grows. I realize it offers you a better shave, however it'll supply you razor bumps. Shave with the hair. If there's a few rationale you wish to have high-quality tender legs, it is alright to shave reverse many times, however do it sparingly. three) Try a brand new shaving cream. Some individuals even use conditioner. four) Shower (or take a bathtub) first, then shave. Showers melt up your hair and make it simpler to shave, which could also be much less frustrating. Your legs frequently have not been rainy adequate simply wetting them at the fringe of the tub. five) Moisturize your legs when you shave at any time when. 6) Rinse off the shaving cream fairly good too.

this will be painful the first time you do it but you should go get them waxed. I just started getting mine waxed about 6 months ago because I had the same problem and the first few times it hurt so bad but the ingrowns and bumps went away and I dont ever have to shave anymore!

just keep shaving. you obviously have sensitive skin, so get a razor that is made for your skintype. most razor brands have new ones with aloe and vitamin e . try that.

have you tried changing your shaving cream. you might be having an allergic reaction to something in that brand. switch up and see if it helps you out any.
