1. Thank you. May Zeus bless you and Athena grant you beauty."
2. Thank you, but please do it in Hebrew.
3. Thank you, but please do it in Arabic.
4. Thank you, but please do it in the Name of Satan.
5. Thank you, but I would rather you give me some money.
6. Thank you, but I would rather you come over to my house tonight for a private party.
7. Laugh as hard as you can.
8. Say, "You do and my cousin the Don will come by and make you an offer you can not refuse."
9. Look disgusted, turn your back and walk away.

I do believe that the answer to this question should be "Thank You". Even if your beliefs are different, does it hurt you that someone prays for you? Why not respect their belief, albeit different it may be from yours, and just thank them for their thoughtfulness. As an atheist, I get the "I will pray for you" a lot and I always thank the person. Positive energy has never hurt anybody.

If this means nothing to you - then perhaps just show respect in that everyone is different and these people are more different than others.
Could you ignore their comment?
Well, if it is stated as an insult - then again you have two choices: 1 ignore them or 2 confront them.
I usually suggest option 1 as I do not confront stably unknown people (possible crazy).
IF meant as just a hope for a happy day/weekend/life - perhaps say "Thanks."
Sorry I can't provide insults, as again I do not confront (trust) strangers.

Well, whenever someone says that to me, I kindly thank them. I don't feel that there's a need to say any more. In some cases, people say that as an excuse so they do not need to financially or physically help someone else. Though this shouldn't be used like this, it often is. If someone who is supposedly religious says this to you, they should be more than willing to help and put their money or time where their mouth is.

Tell the "faith-full", once they tell you: I'll pray for you:
I've Created My Relationship with Our Creator and so can you.
Here's how:
Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save Your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs.
Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.
Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!
Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!
"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one else with Spiritual intelligence.
atheists = all the people in religion = all the ignorant fundamentalists = all the cults/superstitions = paganism

If the intent is to say, "I feel bad for you and want to help, but I don't know how," I just say "thank you." If it is to say, "I want you to be less like you and more like me," I tell them they are cursing me, just as us Witches are often alleged to do. After all, what would it be if I were asking the Gods to make them break up with their spouse, get all confused and lonely, move out of the house, and radically alter their life?

I am sure that some people say that because they really wish the best for you. Even if you don't believe in god, just saying,"thank you" won't abnegate your beliefs and will create more pleasant interaction with the individual.

I think when a lot of the Christians in Yahoo say they’ll pray for you, they really mean “**** you.” I’d like to know how many of them really go home and pray for you.

"Would you do that for me? And when you're talking to allah tell him i would like a new car and to win the lottery"
Feel free to replace Allah with any other fictional deity you'd like. :-) You just have to make sure that you insert the name of a god that ISN'T the god of the person who is saying they'll pray for you. lol
