Just bought a new set from Room and Board (couch and chaise) Couch feels much firmer than when I tried in showroom. Chaise feels just fine. The couch though has a sleeper contrary to the one in the showroom. Should I be calling the store?
Thanks.

no, don't call the store, it is normal ...the one in the showroom has been sat on by so many people by now...it's just worn in.....your's is just stiff b/c it's new...it will get to the softness you like soon enough, you just have to use it. No one has been on it yet.

No. Chances are the floor model has been softened up by people sitting on it and kids jumping on it. If yours is a sofa bed, it has to be firmer. There's lots of extra weight and cushions cannot sink down since they are right on top of the folded mattress.

You bet!!!!! People have been sitting on those in the showroom. They are already broke in. I bought mine and there was a big difference for about a month. Then it softened up quite a bit.

You answered your own question when you said it is a sleeper. These are always firmer than a standard couch. It is not a problem.
