These same images were posted here yesterday or the day before by someone asking a similar question. I didn't reply then because the image posted was way too dark to see well enough to reply on.

Next time you want advice or help about some art try taking a much better photograph, in natural light, of the painting you want help with. The image you're asking about of this painting is really no help to us because it is way too dark.

As to this being a Hollander painting it could well be one. The signature seems similar to the way he signed earlier works. But, here again, the images you've posted aren't much help.

And, from what I can see, the painting you have really needs a good cleaning. It looks to be covered in grime, the same kind of grime that coats and cakes paintings from too many years of hanging on walls in smoke-filled rooms. Whoever you got this painting from was probably a heavy smoker.

But the good thing is it does look like you've got yourself an original painting by Gino Hollander. If you really want to know it's value the whole Hollander family have a collective web site. They all seem to be artists of some kind or another.

Gozer the Traveler Gozer the Destructor Gozer the Gozarian Wait for a signal from Gozer the Traveller; he's going to are available probably the most pre-selected varieties. During the rectification of the Vuldronaii, the Traveller got here as a big and relocating Torb. Then, for the duration of the 3rd reconciliation of the final of the Meketrex Supplicants, they selected a brand new sort for him -- that of a Giant Sloar! Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was once to be roasted within the depths of the Sloar that day I can inform you!

Wow, it's gorgeous! I love the eyes.

I would try to contact an art history professor at a nearby university--they would probably be easier to get a hold of than an art appraiser.

Best of luck to you!
