Spending hours online arguing with atheists and agnostics, or volunteering in your community? What would Jesus do?

Well played. I think people on ALL sides need to re-evaluate how they spend their time. Arguing will never solve anything, ESPECIALLY when it comes to religion.

People should stop worrying about what other people do. Just better yourself, and better your community by volunteering and supporting those that do.

Definitely not here. I am starting to think myself that I have had enough of the junk that goes on here. I try to answer the serious questions, but most of the people here are just here to ridicule each other and post ridiculous questions and rant and rant at each other. This is definitely not worth my time. Jesus would reach out to the lost and hurting world, but he would argue with them or try to ram it at them. And we shouldn't either.

Yea the arguing doesn't do anyone good except maybe educate people on both sides. I dont argue about it I just give an opinion that is slightly neutral. Telling someone that they are stupid and wrong about anything does not work. Thank "God" we are not all alike or we wouldn't have anything to do.

I agree that arguing isn't a good use of one's time. But please remember that Jesus used His time explaining the scriptures to people who asked Him. The word of God says to "have an answer to every man who asks for the hope that is within you". Nothing wrong with giving balanced, scripturally based answers to honest questions about Jesus, the bible, and God.

Who's arguing? Sharing God's word with others is not arguing, it's simply sharing. Jesus shared His Father's word with others. That is what I am doing here and that is what He did and still does through His word in the Bible today! Praise the Lord!

Prayer first then whatever the Holy Spirit leads you to do.

But I would venture to guess that if you describe your time here as "arguing" then the Holy Spirit has not lead you here. Paul says we are not to argue, but be ready to "teach" and you should always teach in love.

Jesus would build a house for habitat for humanity. He was a carpenter. Course in the end, it was HIM who got nailed....

I'll be here all week folks, don't forget to tip your waitress!
