Yes. It is not impossible. The truth of the Bible was written in such a way that is more dependent on heart condition than degree of intellect. The truth can make you wise. It will improve your heart but your heart must be inclined towards it first. God's spirit will assist.

When Jesus stood before Pilate, Pilate asked Him, "Truth! What is truth?" The answer was "Truth is the Man Who stands before you."
For some people, even if we look Jesus in the eye, we still would not recognize Him because of the stubbornness of our hearts.
Truth stand before us. It is up to us to open our eyes and to see Him.

Truth is a matter of perception. Nothing in this universe can be proven one way or the other, why bother?

It takes wisdom to understand the Bible. To those without wisdom it is foolishness.
Intelligence and wisdom are apples and oranges. They are also separate ability scores.
