Does the sunscreen prevent you from getting a tan, if not- how? if yes-how? lol.

No, sunscreen does not prevent tanning, it lowers your chance of getting burned. It reacts with your skin causing a barrier that protects you from the sun. It is meant to allow safer tanning with no risk of burns.

Please note, there is a difference between sunscreen and sunblock! Sunblock does not have a SPF rating because it blocks all UV rays. Some products will claim to be sunblocks but if they have an SPF rating, they are not sunblocks...they are sunscreens. A sunblock will prevent tanning since it blocks all rays.

suscreen doesn't prevent tanning. Just sunburn
