Why is it that people whine and complain when the companies raise prices while making record profits- yet when others call for a boycot, people go right on buying it anyways? I understand you've got to work, but for 1 day no one can find an alternative? Hard to believe!

A 1 day boycot would make a difference if it were nation-wide! But that would mean every state would have to work together toward the same goal and until people decide they really want to do something besides whine and complain about gas prices.

One day without using gas would virtually have no effect on a person's day-to-day life. It's not that big of a sacrifice to carpool with someone who has a full tank- there's no excuse except laziness.

Also- people got along just fine before cars came along AND they had to go a lot further than the corner grocery store for the things they needed.

At $4.33 in San Francisco the average person is spending around 4% of earnings on gas. At $3.15 in Dumbfuckistan, Billy Bob is putting 15% of his earnings into his HEMI.
As long as Bubba is stupid enough to believe FOX"""NEWS""" that the government has nothing to do with oil prices nothing will be done

It's so simple even a NeanderCon could understand

Because most people with a brain knows that a one day boycot will not work. Will make no difference.

A one day boycott would have absolutely no effect on gas prices and most people know this.

I personally think that that answer is a bunch of shiit.......people do complain, but we need it to run our everyday lives. Imagine your life without gasoline, what would you do, go out and buy one of those $500,000 hydrogen cars? or just keep spending it on the gas we have now...
