I prefer the recipes here:

http://www.mealtime.org/recipe_search.aspx

However, this is the easiest:

I do have software on my Mac:

A Cook's Books

I like using epicurious.com.
I type in all the main ingredients into the search field and then go through the recipes it comes up with. Epicurious recipes are from Bon Appetit and Gourmet magazines as well as people's submissions so there's a lot of good stuff to choose from, some easier than others. There's also an advance search that lets you focus on what part of the meal but it's cool to see a dessert when I was originally thinking main course or appetizer.

Cambell's Soup's wesite has that feature, where you can type in the foods you have (want to use) and then it comes up with a recipe (campbellkitchen.com).

Also Kraft Foods has the same thing (kraftfoods.com).

These are very helpful websites for me and give me a lot of ideas, even if I don't have the EXACT ingredients called for in the recipes.

Good Luck!

I wouldn't call it a program but on the www. food network.com you can go and put in like a main ingredient and they will give you recipes based on what you put in. Or even for side dishes like a pasta you can search for whole recipes or just recipe tips for the ingredients you have. Thats the closest I have come to any thing like that myself and I love to cook and watch people cook on T.V and in front of me. Or if you need some good tips, give me your ingredient list and I bet I can give you some ideas on what to do with them that you will enjoy. Hope this helps!! :)

I've heard of those programs. But haven't experienced them. I do go to recipesource alot because you can search for recipes by ingredient.

The Campbell's Soup Website offers this - of course the recipes will include their products, but I've gotten some of my family's favorite meals this way!
