Not really in my opinion, but you could certainly try. That is low mileage for brakes, especially rear brakes. Did you ask them to refund the money, or to at least meet you halfway?
Considering that the wear was only on one side, or was much worse on one side, you have a problem causing that. If they only replaced the pad and rotor, the problem is still there. Brakes just don't wear on one side more than the other, without something causing that.
Did you have them look at that? They should look at that for free, since the vehicle has low mileage and they already got paid for the brake work. It might be a defect considering the mileage and that the car is above average in brakes.
Occasionally you will get a car that has problems, even brand new. Sounds like that is the case.
Go back and ask them for a full or partial refund, considering the mileage. Ask them why it only wore like that on the left side, and if it is going to do it again (basically, what did they do to make sure it wasn't going to do it again).
And keep your reciept, if there is a problem with the brakes you will be replacing them again soon and will have a much better case against them.

Brake pads and rotors are wear items and you can not warranty them unless the problem is caused by something else. Rear brakes should last 100k miles if not more because they only do about 1/3 of the total braking. Did you have a stuck caliper or something like that?

The 2008 Altima hit dealerships Yesterday so you think braking systems should be trouble free for 3 years? With the way agressive drivers run right up on my rear bumper and slam on there brakes instead of driving defensively? I think you got just the amount of brake systen Nissan put into your car. You did take it back to the dealership didn't you? If you took it to Jiffy quick for oil changes and relied on there $8.00 an hour techs to check out your car then again you got just what you paid for. Most 2005 altimas get 13,000 miles "low side" and 35,000 miles "high side" for front brakes. rear brakes last lot's longer almost 60,000 to 100,000 miles. Your driving style and conditions may vary. The 2005 Altima is a great car just take care of it.

Your feelings are warranted. Forget what Consumer Reports says. J.D. Powers and Associates is a better source. Nissan quality is not so great. Good luck with their customer service. People have been complaining about their customer service on the internet, and have vowed to never do business with them again. I would never buy a Nissan until years after they change their ownership and get rid of Ghosn.
You need to try to get reimbursed by Nissan. But to my knowledge, wear items like brake rotors and pads are usually warranted for one year/12,000 miles for parts and workmanship.

No. Brakes are not a warranty item. If you could prove bad parts or workmanship then yes but that would cost you far more than what you paid out.
