That is emotional abuse. People do that to thier partners to get contol over them. I suggest that you get out of this relationship ASAP. It is not healthy. I hope that you value yourself enough to realize that you do not deserve this, no one does! I know it is hard to let someone go, especially if there has been a lot of time and emotion invested in the relationship, but it will only get worse. The right person for you will not do this. I promise!!

It would be convenient if we could turn our feelings on and off, but we can't. It would be great if we could love the person who was really the best choice for a relatively happy, stable life, but we can't force our hearts to love someone we don't.
Love isn't logical. It's complicated and messy. And sometimes, the old saying is true: "It's a thin line between love and hate".
Some people are afraid of a relationship. Maybe that's why he broke up. There are thousands of potential reasons. Just have a SHORT conversation about it. Ask him point blank why he broke up with you. Don't drag the conversation out too long; guys hate that sort of thing.
If he can't answer you directly, he probably has something to hide. Then there is no trust, and you have to walk away.

You feel sorry for him, therefore even though he hurts you, you take him back. He sounds to be deeply confused about what he wants and he's playing mind games telling you he doesn't care but then coming back because he wants to know he can keep you on the back burner for when he needs you. I can't judge this man without knowing him but I am familiar with this type of behavior one word sweety * MANIPULATION*

they sometimes say that just to see how you would react to it because if you dont cry and tell him u dont want to lose him then he will because he doesnt see a reaction from you. its normal to still love him but hey it happends u break up 20 times get back together and over and over again and the love is still there.

When he breaks up with you again. Maybe you should just walk away and not listen to what he has to say any more. I know it will be hard but maybe he will stop and really think about what he is doing to your emotions. You are not a yoyo.

I'M GUESSING ITS HAPPENED TO YOU BEFORE ..RIGHT?...WHELL I USED TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP LIKE THAT. THE PROBLEM WAS THAT YOU STILL HAVE A CERTAIN EMOTIONAL CONNECTION THAT DEEPLY DONT WANT TO GET RID OF, BUT ITS NOT HEALTHY FOR YOU OR HIM BECAUSE ALL YOUR GOING TO DO IS KEEP FIGHTING OVER AND OVER AGAIN!...SO WHAT YOU WILL HAVE TO DO IS SET YOUR MIND ON NOT THINKING ABOUT HIM AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE OR SOMETHING THAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY.

Because you have self-esteem issues. I for one would never allow anybody to toy with me like that. First time is forgivable, second time you deserve what you get.

It's how we are. Sometimes it's just really hard to completely leave something that made you happy at some point.
