Hee hee.... we should consult Betty Bowers on this one.

3:33 p.m. Assume complete control of the U.S., state, and local governments (in addition to other nations' governments); destroy all healthy Christian marriages; recruit all children grades Kindergarten through 12 into your amoral, filthy lifestyle; secure complete control of the media, starting with sitcoms; molest innocent children; give AIDS to as many people as you can; host a pornographic "art" exhibit at your local art museum; and turn people away from Jesus, causing them to burn forever in Hell.

4:10 p.m. Time permitting, bring about the general decline of Western Civilization and look like you are having way too much fun doing it.

4:30 p.m. Take a disco-nap to prevent facial wrinkles from the stress of world conquest and being so terribly witty.

6:00 p.m. Open a fabulous new bottle of Malbec.

6:47 P.M. Bake Ketamine for weekend. Test recipe.

7:00 P.M. Go to Abercrombie & Fitch and announce in a loud voice, "Over!"

Many Christians are still in the infancy phase of their conversion therefore no one should take everything a Christian says as fact. (Any intelligent person should know this.) Yet I continue to see Non-Christians use these people's weakness against the entire Church. The average Christian who is well read and studies daily knows that there is nothing to fear regarding homosexuality. It is a lifestyle that is clearly stated to be against our teaching but is not a death sentence. I have come to accept homosexuals as normal people with the same desires, hopes and dreams as anyone else. I even think that marriage should be made legal for them. The Bible says that in the last days, there will be an obvious division and that Christians will be abused, and put to death if we won't deny our God. I believe that many of the hateful and ignorant answers given by so-called Christians here are actually written by people who want others to think we are fools. It's ok though. It is supposed to happen and I am not afraid. Earthquakes, floods, and famines will come closer and closer together like a woman in childbirth. Anyone will be able to see this division and will be given the opportunity to choose which side they want to be on. Our lifestyles have nothing to do with whether or not we will be allowed make that choice.

Homosexaulity as a human consideration threatens all religions in ONE universal way:

LESS propagation of the species.

That's it, folks. Nothing more, nothing less. It IS, by the way, just ONE of the reasons we designed it. But most of us claim no ownership in the creation of the big picture, so who knows how that will be heard...

And now, in the era of record numbers of unwanted, abused and neglected children who are being scooped up and lovingly cared for by gay couples, only time will tell whether or not you can actually "turn" gay by association.

Strangely enough, many of the loudest people who claim this possibility have regular contact with gay people and don't even know it, and yet somehow, remain hetero.

My concusion must be that you can't "catch" gay like a cold, and you can't "choose" gay any more than you can choose skin color.

By the way, just for fun: EVERYONE is BISEXUAL, to SOME degree, it's been proven.

Have fun with that one.

The reproduction part would be pretty threatening, because I'm sure that there is some kind of psychological cornerstone in Christianity concerning homosexuals and their reduced likelihood of becoming parents (it's almost, dare I say, Darwinian). Things have changed now, with adoption services becoming more accessible to gay couples, AI, surrogates and all that, now they can parent if they want to, and that would, I think, threaten Christianity.

Homosexuality does not threaten Christianity.

The sin of homosexual activity threatens the moral and spiritual life of homosexuals.

Created in the image of the one God and equally endowed with rational souls, all men have the same nature and the same origin. Redeemed by the sacrifice of Christ, all are called to participate in the same divine beatitude: all therefore enjoy an equal dignity.

The Catholic Church believes there is nothing sinful about being homosexual. But homosexuals like all unmarried people are called to celibacy.

The Church specifically says that homosexuals "must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided."

With love in Christ.

Christianity is in no way threatened by homosexuality. But the converse is true.

I think it's the part where they don't give a rip about what the christians think that threatens christians the most.

There's an agenda? I want a copy!

But I think they are honestly afraid that being in contact with homosexuals somehow makes people gay. That and "allowing" them to marry makes it seem as though it's "OK" to be gay when it clearly isn't (according to them).

Look at all the repubs running for president. Except for Romney, they seem to thrive on divorce, affairs, and other attacks on marriage that, fortunately for their campaigns, are not nearly so detrimental as, ugg the very though is sickening, offering equal rights to all citizens.

i can't say i'm threatened.
why be married if you've already been "living in sin" according to "christians"?
christians believe that marriage is for a man & a woman...we also believe that sex should be saved for marriage...we believe a whole lot of things...which a lot of homosexuals do not. doesn't make us threatened...it makes us prayerful. if christians stay strong in their faith then we cannot be swayed...fortunately for us, that somehow threatens you, without us even trying to do so.
