I have to disagree. I'm a Christian but never did I expect my problems to be magically solved. I pray for God's guidance and strength but there's no way I'll sit around waiting for a miracle to happen. The problem is present, therefore I'm there to solve it.

I seek God to give me peace and tranquility in decision-making, not for Him to repair my computer when it fails to start up.

You know Christians are not the only ones who have a hard time dealing with life. We have moments of being very unhappy in life. And it's not magical, nothing about christianity is magical. It's just! Being unhappy and looking for magical solutions is what makes us human, trusting in Christ to carry us through the hard times is what makes us Christians!

Unhappy?? LOL! What a ridiculous statement....Many Christians are actively involved in outreach and support ministries as well as aid to many less fortunate countries. Many of these organizations are founded by Christians. What does this say?? It says that WE are very aware of WORLD problems and using practical hands on methods (no magic involved) to contribute to solving them outside of our personal belief in God.

It is obvious from your question that you did not convert. There is nothing there to suggest you got the gospel message. Christianity is INCLUSIVE and excludes no one, so there is no one to hate. Love your neighbor as you love yourself # Luke 10:29 But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" The questioned has already been asked pick up a bible and check out the answer. People have created rule and interpretations and think they need to act for God in negative and hateful ways but they are all wrong and may be goats. (Matt 25:36ff) So if you hate you do so without Jesus. I noticed may people offered list of someone to hate. Wars are started with religious emphasis and "God on our side" cries. God has not started a war since biblical times. Those were for specific reasons. Notice, Israel isn't doing so hot these days. The people of the book would be able to come to understanding it is the people of the governments that have problems.

No. Are trolls and bashers actually just very lonely people, looking for acceptance but not being socially adept enough to fit in, so they resort to bashing others beliefs in a way to let off steam about their own poor pathetic lives and try to get a little attention?

A true Christian Will pray like God can do everything and work to solve the situation as if God will do nothing. God helps those that help themselves.

No. The Christians I know are people who are deeply grateful for what Jesus Christ did on the cross, that He died to free us from sin and death. A kind of joy that is not determined by circumstance.

He told us on this earth we would have tribulation (problems). Being a Christian doesn't mean we have any respite from the difficult circumstances that come our way as humans. It does mean we have the promises of God to give us hope, both for the outcome of whatever challenges we face, and that one day we will be with the one we love, Jesus, forever.

Yes. Christianity is defined as the haunting fear that someone, somewhere may be happy and the fanatical obsession with crushing that happiness.
