All the suggestions above are great, my fav. is the bar b que sauce, but if you want to try something a little different, get the packages of dry ranch or greek salad dressing and mix those packets in with the meat or even just on it as a sort of rub. That way you don't have to go out and buy the full bottles of herbs that you might never use again. Sams club I believe also has a spice called six pepper (i'm not sure if it's just them or if this is a normal spice mixture) that is wonderful as a sprinkle on top of burgers.

No matter what spices I use I always add a little liquid smoke to my meat and it makes it taste so much better.
Also, instead of grilling and then adding the sauce, you could try mixing some of the sauce into the meat before you grill, and then add more sauce later on.

My favorite combo of spices for beef
1 part chili powder
1 part ground coriander
1 part garlic powder
1/4 part cayenne (less if you don't like it hot and spicy)
salt and pepper to taste
Mix it into the hamburger before grilling and if making steak, use the mixture as a rub.
it's fabulous

Throw a packet of Hidden Valley dry ranch salad dressing mix in with the hamburger. About a packet a pound will add a nice ranchy flavor to the burgers.

Mix in an egg, some chopped onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Delish! My in-laws love it when I make the burgers for the grill!

onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, a bit of Tabasco for a kick, dash of salt, Worcestershire sauce, i like to used smoked paprika as well. Most grocers carry a specific hamburger seasoning which takes the guess work out of it

Add lots of fresh ground black pepper and finely chopped onion to your burger mixture.
You can also brush on some heinz 57 mixed with a little honey. (2/3 cup of heinz to 1/3 cup of honey, salt and pepper if you want, brush on liberally before grilling and as needed).
It also works well with chicken.

Try addidng Lipton onion soup mix to the ground beef. It has all of the seasonings you will want, is low maintenance, and is inexpensive. I usually add an egg for each pound of meat, too, to make sure everything binds. This will give your burgers the flavor you and your guests will want.

Dale's Marinade is chock full of seasonings and is made to use on anything you put on a grill, seafood, chicken, steak, burgers. It just gives your meat that little something extra that everyone like, "Dang! You put your foot in this!"
