Yes, Tony is on the cover on the new NASCAR 08; but unlike Madden; there is no curse involved with being on the cover. However it is funny that a week before 07 was release with Elliott Sadler on the cover he had left RYR and went to Evernham.
NASCAR 06 had the California Tag Team of Jeff and Jimmy in the cover and Jimmy won the 06 Championship. 05 had Harvick and Harvick failed to make the Chase in 05. Dale Jr. was 04 and he failed to make the Chase in 04.
There is no real pattern to make Tony being on the cover a curse on him.
I am not buyin the game however because it lacks the four series that have made 05-07 so awesome. This on is strictly Cup. Though the graphics and racing are said to be very realistic and awesome; without the Busch, Craftsman, and Whelan Series; seems a bit boring.

EA sports NASCAR games are a waste of time anyway... NASCAR Racing 2003 Season still beats anything they have ever done.

Yep he is.... and the year after he is on the front both other times he has won the championship... so watch out in 2008!
It would be nice to see someone else on it though
